St. John's Lutheran Church is peacefully located in the heart of the
rich farmland of North-Central Iowa. Since its establishment in
1877, it has served the spiritual lives of its community for many
generations. Many present community members are able to trace
their ancestry back to St. John's founding families.
Since 1960, St. John's has joined with St. Peter's Lutheran Church
of Woolstock, Iowa, in a dual parish.
As a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod,
we conform to the Word of God in doctrine and practice, offering
Christ-centered worship through traditional liturgy and the
proclamation of, Grace alone, Scripture alone and Faith alone.
We thank you for visiting our web page and we welcome you to visit
us in person by joining us in worship this Sunday. St. John's is
located approximately 8 miles east of Fort Dodge, Iowa on county
highway D14, (also named 170th Street). Worship begins at 8:30 am.
During the months of September through May, our Sunday School
