The January, 1997 issue of Eagle Forum's EDUCATION REPORTER contains an article about how Medicaid funds are being used by schools to provide in-school mental and physical health services. That's just phase one. Phase two has just been put into place in Pennsylvania: MANDATORY MANAGED CARE for ALL persons who receive Medicaid funds! You MUST see a government-approved doctor, dentist or psychologist now, if you receive Medicaid health insurance and want services in the 5 county "Southeastern region" of Pennsylvania. This plan will go state-wide within three years.

Hillary's health care plan is alive and well (it never really died) in the "skin" of school-based health centers funded by Medicaid dollars that attract the children, then their families, and then, after unscrupulous carpetbaggers have milked the system for all it's worth for a couple of years, the Governor comes along and imposes MANDATORY MANAGED CARE on the people in order to control skyrocketing costs. U.S. Citizens would never stand for mandatory managed care if it was imposed on them all-at-once. First, the poor will get it, then the disabled, then (when it's in every school in America), the rest of the country will take it voluntarily because it will be just SSOOOOOO easy to access, and so convenient, that it won't be resisted anymore. I give it no more than 5 years; America will shake hands with Hillary's health care plan less than a year after the Clintons leave Washington (assuming that they're not incarcerated before they leave the White House).
