Subject: Info on VETO?

INFO MIGHT HELP LOOP:

Heard from a western contact that Gov. Miller of Nevada recently vetoed a bill passed by the Nevada legislature, that would have given parents the right to have access to school records of their children and counselors. The governor, was apparently quoted in news stories saying he vetoed it because kids wouldn't trust a counselor if they knew parents would have access to records, and also because parental values might conflict with what the school systems knows is best.

Did anyone save news articles on this that they could post in their entirety on the loop? Parental rights are coming up again in several states and such complete articles could help many on our loop. (Please provide the article if you find it, don't suggest we search the internet for this -- we're swamped with un-searched for things, great though all of them are. We can't personally search out and print out all of them to re-send. We may have to become anti-educrat-educrats so we can get the staff and space to pursue this crazy hobby!)

Gov. Miller, by the way, is the one who was on C-SPAN the other day, and referred to in my posting on the Rob Reiner, Hollywood connection to the Clinton/Governors/educrat steamroller.
