Welcome to my shooting page.
I would like to share some of my hunting and shooting interests with you here. There are links to second amendment sites, and links to all the gun manufacturers sites that I have found.

These are some of my hunting pictures, hope you like them.







Above are some pictures of my hunting dog and some pheasants from this year. My dogs name is Vel. She is a Weimeraner and she is just 13 weeks old in this picture.






And here she is one year later.
She looks promising, this year should be fun.

Well 2001 was a good year for deer hunting. I got this nice buck this October during blackpowder season. (I don't eat the antlers anyway)


My favorite blackpowder rifle is a Thompson Center 54 cal. Hawken. It has a special sound to it when you fire it with 120 grains of powder, my regular load. It is quite accurate.




This is Mikes first deer, a clean running shot. Nice shooting, congratulations Mike.

Then along comes my friend Rusty, and look what he got! That is a nice 13 pointer in anyone's book! Congratulations Rusty.
(it took months to get that silly grin off his face)

Then there is my friend Mac (Doolittle?) that just talks to them and they come running. It takes all the sport out of it but it is fun to watch.

    Here is something to think about...........

     
    U.S. Supreme Court (Haynes v. U.S., 390 US 85, 1968) has unequivocally ruled that criminals cannot be legally required to register their firearms, and they cannot be convicted for possessing an unregistered firearm. It makes no sense at all to enact laws which can only be used to convict previously law-abiding citizens while criminals get a free pass. It is time to start enforcing the existing violent crime laws, rather than wasting taxpayer money on harassment and punishment of non-violent firearms owners. It is time for the media and the politicians to help people who want to defend themselves against crime, rather than passing laws which only help the criminals.





    Every 13 seconds on average, an American gun owner uses a firearm in defense against a criminal.
