Welcome to the Countryside Cooperative Ministry. We are a group of churches that banded together to support each other in our faith, our mission, our purpose, and our loving outreach.
Please browse around the Countryside Cooperative Ministry site and also take time to visit the sites of each church in the Countryside Cooperative Ministry.
The Countryside Cooperative Ministry is a group of six congregations - four ELCA Lutheran, one Presbyterian, and one United Church of Christ/Congregational - working together and trusting the Holy Spirit in order to sustain, enhance, enrich, and cause growth in rural ministry.
As the Countryside Cooperative Ministry continues to grow in mission and support, its aims are to provide a wide range of ministries and styles of worship that a normal rural church is unable to sustain. Already the Countryside Cooperative Ministry has joined the Stephen's Ministry program, a program that trains lay people to provide one-on-one care ministry to those who need and request it, whether they are part of the cooperative or not. We have also begun adapting new worship styles that are rare in a rural area. We are providing traditional and contemporary worship services and are preparing to provide worship events and worship experiences. We have incorporated a worship service on Wednesday nights that provides today's youth with the spiritual nourishment they need in order to continue to grow in the love of Christ. If you want to know about our Wednesday night service, go to our FUSION page. More on our worship ministries can be found on our Worship Opportunities page.
