Setting Up A DSL Connection

Before you can use a dial-up Internet connection you need to set up an account.   Accounts are available by contacting Webster-Calhoun at 352-3151 and completing a form which includes choosing a username and password.


Open Network Connections:

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network Connections.

  2. Double-click New Connection Wizard, and then click Next.

  3. Mark the circle next to Connect to the Internet, Click Next.

4.  Choose to set up the connection manually using the information provided to you by WCCTA.net.  Click Next.

5.  Choose to connect using a connection that is always on then click Next.

6.  You have successfully created a connection!  Click Finish to complete the process.
